Not much new since yesterday. The babies made it past the 24 hour mark fairly well, and pretty much as expected. They all need some CPAP by the end of day one, but as the doctor's and the nurses said... they are just showing their age, that is to remember that they are premies, and will need some help in the beginning
Not much in the way of pictures today, as they were mostly covered up and in their not so photo-helpful ICUs. Gabrielle made some progress though and we got to see more of her. Gabbi and Nate are pictured here. Jack wasn't into taking photos today.
Kim was up and walking today, and was taken off her IV... but she is still in a lot of pain, and not feeeling so well. She is being a trooper through this, and can't get enough of the babies. We were hoping to get to hold them today, but they are not ready yet. They are getting food now through tubes, so that is progress.
Sophia came and spent the night in the hospital with us. We played some Sponge Bob Monopoly, and spent quite a bit of time with the babies. Sophia pushed mom through the halls in the wheel chair, and got a ride back to the room herself.
All of our neighbors have created a support group for us, to take care of us when the babies come home. What a great neighborhood and friends we have!!! Thank you soooo much to everyone.
