Kim and I woke up around 6:30ish this morning and started our day. Kim had all the prepping to do... I just kind of sat back and offered the comic relief that we all know she adores so much :P
We were advised to bring along a photographer since I would be busy attending to Kim and wouldn't get a chance to film it myself. Derek O'Loughlin agreed to do the cinematography, so we suited up and headed to the OR!
Kim got prepped for her Spinal in the OR... and that made things fairly uncomfortable for her, but she was a trooper and managed.
Just before the surgery being, Kim's anxiety calmed down and she was ready to begin.... like she had a choice at this point.
10:01 am April 29th Jack Douglas Harrington entered the world topping the triplets at 4 lbs 7 oz.
Next in line was Nate Michael Harrington bringing up the low end of the scales at 3 lbs 1 oz.
Last, but not least, came Gabrielle Hope Harrington at 4 lbs 1 oz.
The delivery was swift, and went off without a hitch. All the babies are doing well, with both Jack and Nate breathing on their own from the get go, but Gabrielle needs a little help through the CPAP.
Kim and I are now kicking back in our hospital room awaiting the time when visitors can start showing up and see the babies.
And so it begins...
